There are lots of reasons for which as a free user I just love Mediafire more than any other file hosting sites like rapidshare, hotfile, megaupload etc. Mediafire offers bunch of features for free users.
1. Unlike other hosting sites (Rapidshare, Megaupload etc) Mediafire has no waiting time and download links are instantly available.
2. No need for entering codes
3. Unlike most file hosting sites, MediaFire supports an unlimited number of file downloads. For free users, Mediafire supports multiple simultaneous downloads
4. Support for Resuming of disconnected downloads as long as your web browser or download manager/accelerator supports resuming. You can resume a download for up to 24 hours from when you first clicked the download link.
Note
Some files have ".001" extension for which you require "HJSplit" to extract the movie.
*Some files have "._a" extension for which you either require "FFJS" to extract
*Some files have ".a00, .a01, .a02,..., .alz" extension, use "ALZip" for extracting them.
*Some files have ".vnw" extension in the end. Now rename set of files to ".rar" and use "WinRAR"
*Download corrupted files again , if that doesnt work use winrar extract files with keep broken files checked or try 7zip,
*If a link returns a html file or it wont download with IDM,Flashget ....try using another browsers and start the download.
